I have been teaching for 32 years!

And still loving it!

I grew up in southern California. I attended Lakewood High School and graduated in 1970. I went to Long Beach City College for two years and then transfered to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I majored in Home Economics and graduated with my teaching credential in 1975. CAL POLY is the best! If you are considering attending college think about CAL POLY!! My major at Cal Poly is now under the Food and Nutrition or Child Development majors. Check out the websites for the majors at Cal Poly, Food and Nutrition or Child Development. The moto at Cal Poly is "Learn by Doing". I have tried to continue that motto at Foothill High School!

My family life....

I have been married to Mr. Larry Freshour for 27 years. We met at Cal Poly when we both attended. Mr. Freshour graduated with a BS in Natural Resources Management and a Masters Degree in Agriculture. He is the Driver's Education teacher for our school District.

We have two children...

Scott is 24 years old. He graduated from Sacramento State University in Communications. He works for Maloof Entertainment and Sports. Scott is the production stage manager for the Sacramento Kings and Monarchs. He loves traveling all over the world for the Kings and the NBA

Sara is 21 years old. She is currently attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Her major is Nutrition. She plans to work in the sports nutrition or teaching fields. She works for the City of San Luis Obispo as a teacher for the afterschool program.
