All Family and Consumer Science courses meet the practical/vocational arts requirement. The skills taught are essential to each individual for successful living. Family and Consumer Science programs focus on the development of skills, knowledge, attitudes, and essential competencies that directly affect individual and family life management. FACS department offers two career curriculum pathways; Teaching and Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts and Hospitality . The curriculum paths include introductory courses, advanced courses, and ROP courses. College credit is available for successfully completing specific courses. Completion Certificate awarded at 30 Units
