This class is an advanced choral ensemble for mixed voices. It is open to students who have taken previous choir classes at FHS (or consent of instructor). Using correct vocal techniques, students will sing a diverse repertoire of choral literature representing various styles, genres, and cultures in a choral ensemble, demonstrating an understanding of the elements of music as well as the aesthetic qualities of selected literature. Performance at all scheduled choral activities is required and graded. The class fulfills the Fine Arts elective requirement for FHS graduation. It also meeets the UC and CSU requirement. Fees are required for choir performance uniform.
