TEXT: Music! It's Role and Importance in Our Lives

This year-long class is open to all students 9-12. Students will study music that is representative of many styles and cultures. They will come to understand the social issues of music, recognize its role in world heritage, and why it is an essential ingredient of all humanity. The class fulfills the fine arts elective requirement for graduation. It also meets the UC and CSU requirements.
